Vintage Rajasthan Silver Flexible Bracelet

This is a beautiful well-made silver bracelet from Rajasthan, India. It is made of several interlocking arrow-shaped links decorated with intricate repousse floral and bird motifs. The different elements are strung together from top and bottom on thick cotton cord.  There are pairs of little spherical dangles hanging from loops at the bottom. The effect is totally charming. What is a mark of the fineness of this bracelet is how the closure is hidden, disguised as just another element. The bracelet closes with a tongue in groove mechanism and then a double pin with top elements like the rest of the bracelet slides down to secure the closure.

This bracelet is truly unique and tests as good grade silver. A treasure to own and enjoy for many years to come.
