Vintage Silver and Enamel Kabyle Style Export Necklace from Algeria with French Hallmark

A lovely light weight Algerian choker necklace made in Kabyle Style for export with vivid aqua blue, royal blue,yellow, red and white hues of enamel. It is really pretty and in good vintage condition. There are two hallmarks on the closure ring and I believe one of them is the crab mark for silver guarantee which was used from 1838 onwards. Algeria was under French colonial rule until 1962, so the necklace is before then.

Length is 44 cm 17 1/2" .  The main pendant is 5 x 2.5  cm (2 x 1") across. Weight is 19 g.
