Vintage Silver Berber Single Earring Worn as a Bracelet

This is a single temporal ornament worn traditionally by Tunisian, Egyptian (Siwa) and Libyan women in pairs around the temples balanced with a cord around the head or hanging from the headdress. 

The loop earring carries many stamps worn with age. The ends of the hoop earring have worn off or have been sawn off to create a bangle.
