Vintage Silver Bedouin Dangle Hoop Earrings

This lovely pair of Bedouin earrings with spherical dangles is probably from Yemen. They are made from a metal alloy that has low silver content, totally by hand. They are in the shape of a crescent moon at the bottom of a hoop. The crescent is decorated with applique granules and wiring. Seven spherical dangles hang from the bottom.

The ear wires have been changed to 925 ear wires to fit Western standards. The earrings are in good vintage condition with no dangles missing. There is some discoloration.

Length is 6.5 cm (2 1/2"). The width is 3 cm (1 1/4") at the widest. Weight is 14.7 g.
