This beautiful bracelet I think comes from Indonesia from the midcentury. It features two snake heads as finials. The body is made of braided silver roping. The result is a lovely, comfortable and stylish bracelet that can be worn on its own or stacked with other bracelets. The bypass bangle tests as high grade silver of sterling or higher purity and it is in excellent condition.
Snakes have been used a lot in jewelry through the ages as symbols of protection and eternity.
