This is a beautifully worked Kazakh pendant necklace. The Pendant has a raised center that has yellow paper backing covered over with glass. The pendant also has fine silver granulation all around. I don't know if the pendant contains anything on its inside, but it feels like it might. From the pendant dangle 6 hollow ribbed dangles. The chain is hand made and made of silver. The necklace is from the early 20th century. There is a small part of the granulation missing on the bottom left hand corner, but other than that, the necklace is in good vintage condition.
Length of chain: 66 cm (26"). The pendant measures 7 x 7.5 cm (2 3/4 x 3"). Weight is 120 grams.
