Vintage Silver Pashtun Crescent Earrings

Beautiful silver Pashtun hoop earrings from Afghanistan or Pakistan from the 1960s or 70s. The earrings are in a classical crescent shape and decorated with granulation and filigree. Glass cabochons add more color.  The earrings test as silver on a scratch test. 

The ear wires are a bit thicker than western standard wires, but the earrings are in good condition. 

•  The length from the top of the hoop to its bottom is 6 cm (2 1/4").
• The width is 4.5 cm (1 13/16").
• Weight is 18.6 g.
