Vintage Yemeni Headdress, Intricate Head Band Made of Metal

A lovely Yemeni head band from the 1940s that was worn around the head so that the dangles rest just on the forehead like a fringe.  The head band is intricately made from mixed metals with a lot of applique and granulation, creating the impression of textured diamonds. The finials are full of granulation and end in a large ring.  This was attached to the ring on the other side with the help of a piece of cloth or string.
